Lagos Life Account and Password Reset Help

Account problems are the most common emails we get, and the least useful ones for us to receive, because we cannot touch game accounts. Here is the order that actually solves them.
Step one: check it is not an outage
If nobody can log in, the problem is not your account. Check whether the game is down first on Lagos Life not working. During launch week the game had a documented outage, and password resets fixed nothing while it lasted.
Step two: use the official reset
Password resets are handled entirely by the game itself. We are an unofficial fan guide with no access to accounts, so we cannot reset a password, unbind an email or recover a character. Anyone who offers to do that for a fee is a scam. See safety and privacy.
Step three: do not make a second account
The game assigns your starting background once per account. Creating a new account to reroll a Nepo or Lapo start is a reported mistake, and it also means abandoning whatever progress you already had. Read Nepo vs Lapo before you decide your first start was unlucky.
