Privacy policy
Last updated 2026-10-10.
This policy explains what data Lagos Life Simulator (lagoslifesimulator.com) collects and how advertising cookies are used. Questions? Email [email protected].
Data we collect
We do not require accounts and we do not ask for your name, email address or payment details. Two things involve your data:
- Browser storage — the starter checklist saves your ticks in your browser's localStorage. This data never leaves your device, and you can clear it at any time in your browser settings.
- Server logs — our hosting provider records standard technical logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested) for security and to keep the site online. We do not use these logs to profile you.
Cookies and advertising
To keep this guide free, the site displays advertising and will use Google AdSense and Adsterra as ad partners.
- Google, as a third-party vendor, may use cookies (including the DoubleClick DART cookie) to serve ads on this site based on your visits to this and other sites on the internet.
- These cookies let Google and its partners show ads based on your browsing behaviour — known as personalised advertising.
- Adsterra and other ad networks may also place cookies or similar technologies to measure and target ads.
You can opt out of personalised advertising at any time:
Opting out does not remove ads; it makes them less relevant. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
Data sources
Game data on this site — rent, salaries, locations — comes from our own play, public community reports and player submissions. It is unofficial and may be incomplete or out of date. Game artwork and trademarks belong to their owners. We do not receive data from the game's developer, and we never publish players' personal information.
Children
Lagos Life is for players aged 18 and above (see our age requirement guide). This site does not knowingly collect data from children.
Changes to this policy
We will update this page when our data or advertising practices change. The date at the top always shows the latest revision.
