Nothing here is a cheat. These are habits that keep a Lagos Life character solvent, in the order they matter.
Money and rent
- Count down to Saturday, not up from Monday. Rent is the deadline that actually matters.
- Pick a home you can pay for in a bad week, not a good one.
- Keep one week of food money in reserve before you upgrade anything.
- Do not save for luxury listings until you know whether that top figure is rent or a purchase price.
Energy and needs
- Sleep before you are empty, not after a shift fails.
- Eat before a run of shifts. Losing one shift costs more than a meal.
- Bladder and hygiene are free at home. Never pay a venue for them.
- Fun is the need you can safely postpone. Rent is not.
Work and progress
- Choose jobs by weekly income, not headline pay. Entry level starts around ₦6,600 a shift.
- Check the requirements and promotion path before you commit to a career.
- Treat side gigs and businesses as extras. Shifts cover rent; nothing else is as reliable.
Safety
- In-game naira has no cash value. Anyone offering to buy it or sell you hacks is a scam risk.
- Never create a second account hoping for a better starting background. It is assigned once per account.
