Lagos Life In-Game Phone
Unofficial guide. Last checked 2026-10-10.
The phone is the control panel for Lagos Life. Jobs, mini-games and travel all run through it, and players who ignore it spend their first week lost.
What the in-game phone is for
- Job applications. You apply for work from the phone rather than at a building.
- Mini-games. Reported titles include Pool, Ayo, Whot and Ludo.
- The map and travel. Getting between venues and cities.
- Status panels. Needs, cash and rent timing in one place.
Applying for jobs from the phone
This is the fastest route to income. Jobs have requirements and a promotion path; the pay table is on the jobs and salaries page, and the shift mechanics are on how shifts work.
The mini-games on the phone
Pool, Ayo, Whot and Ludo are reported as phone mini-games, alongside a daily clue-based gem hunt. Their rules and rewards changed during the first week, so read the in-game screen. Treat them as fun and small prizes, not as a replacement for shifts.
The map on the phone
Use the map to check a venue before travelling. Hours change on the in-game clock, so the panel is more reliable than any list, ours included. See venues and opening hours.
The session habit worth building
Open the phone, check cash against rent, then choose work or needs. Three checks, ten seconds, and it is the difference between a paid Saturday and an unpaid one. The full routine is on tips.
